Every couple tries to get married on a special day. And soon-to-be newlywed in Las Vegas made that come true, where they lined up and got a marriage license to tie the knots on a unique date which is 4/3/21.
About 700 couples were able to obtaine a license for this date, said Jeff Klein, a spokesman for the Clark County Marriage Bureau, as the city where Elvis can be part of the wedding party got set to mark yet another quirky date for nuptials. Where the clerk’s office marked this date with keepsake marriage certificates.
The county clerk Lynn Goya said: “Specialty dates like 4/3/21 are always immensely popular”. She also noted that more than 1,800 couples got married on 12/13/14.
Lynn Goya added that the month of April is usually a busy month where a lot of marriages happen, where notable numeric sequences have tallied more than 1,000 weddings in a day.
The office is bracing for a busy first 10 days this December, offering what the clerk dubs “palindrome days” for numbers reading the same forward and backwards.
According to the numerical values given, nearly 2,700 couples got married on 10/10/10, and more than 1,800 couples married on 12/12/12, while 3,125 were wed on 11/11/11.
And the most popular date that took the cake, was on 7/7/7 where 4,492 couples tied the knot.
